Prof Fausto Freire, coordinator of the CIE, is a MIT visiting scholar during June-July 2010. The purpose of his work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is to develop research on Industrial Ecology; Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); Life Cycle Management; Uncertainty in LCA, Sustainable Energy Systems (SES), Biomass, Bioenergy and Biofuels.
