Bibliografia

Tendo em consideração o âmbito alargado da disciplina que envolve, como referido anteriormente, os mais diversos ramos de Engenharia Mecânica, a bibliografia que é indicada aos alunos é dividida em duas partes:

- a primeira é relativa a publicações que referem diversas abordagens às metodologias que podem ser seguidas para a selecção de materiais, incluindo as que de algum modo integram os procedimentos seguidos na disciplina;

- a segunda que exemplifica as publicações que podem ser consultadas para a resolução dos casos-estudo; neste caso, é feita referência particular ao facto de que existem disponíveis na biblioteca do departamento um número muito maior de obras para cada especialidade, que devem ser consultadas nalguns casos-estudo particulares.
