CoRLuc

CoRLuc research is dedicated to collaborative robotics for industry applications, namely in cognitive and physical human-robot interaction, collision avoidance, safety, pattern classification, robot dynamics, CAD-based robot programming, robotic friction stir welding, robot advanced applications in manufacturing and industry 4.0 related topics.

Prospective students: We are looking for motivated students and researchers interested in robotics to join our team. Our work involves knowledge in algebra, mathematics, programming and hardware. Ph.D. and Ms.C. students are welcome. Applications should be conducted at the University of Coimbra level.

 

Research: We CoRLuc research both fundamental and applied is mainly dedicated to different aspects related with collabor: CoRLuc research both fundamental and applied is mainly dedicated to different aspects related with collaborative robotics in industry, namely human-robot interaction, gesture recognition, robot task managing, collision avoidance, robot dynamics, physical interaction, wearables, sensor fusion, among others. CoRLuc also focus in advanced industrial robot applications related with object classification from RGB-B, CAD-based robotics, off-line programming, hybrid force/motion control and robotic friction stir welding.
